Admission Notice for MBBS Course

Shahab Uddin Medical College situated in a calm , quiet , and beautiful location at Gulshanin it's own mordern multi-stored and well-furnished building having congenial academic atmosphere with experienced teachers. Application are invited for 100 (one hundred ) seats for admission into the first year MBBS Course (3rd Batch) for the session 2005-2006 . Candidates must have the following educational qualifications:
Eligibillity of candidates are as follows:

Candidates who passed S.S.C /Dakhil/'O'-level/10 grade/equivalent examination before 2002 are not eligible to apply.
|

02.
|
Student must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology in HSC or equivalent examinations. Candidates who passed HSC/Alim. A-level/12 Grade/equivalent Examination in 2004 and 2005 are eligible to apply .
|
|
03.
|
S.S.C (2002/2003) and H.S.C(2004/2005) with GPA total 7.00 (Not less than GPA 3.0 in any exam) .
|
|
04.
|
Those who passed 'O' and 'A' level or equivalent examination are eligible to apply subject to prior approval (equivalence ) by D.G health service.
|
Application form with prospectus is available in the College Office on payment (non refundable) of TK. 1000 (one thousand only) . Application form to be filled in properly and should be submission in the college office by 31-12-2005. Written exam will be held on 2nd January 2006 at 11.00 AM in the college Lecture Gallery.

Eligibility to apply for Admission into MBBS Course:
|
|
a)
|
Candidates must have at least a combined of GPA 7.0(Minimum 3.0) who passed S.S.C in 2003 and H.S.C in 2005 in Science group.
|
|
b)
|
Candidates who passed S.S.C 2002 and H.S.C 2004 in Science group they must have Combined GPA 7.0(Minimum 3.0)
|
|
c)
|
Candidates who passed S.S.C (2003) and H.S.C (2005) in Science group they must have Combined G.P.A 6.00 (Minimum G.P.A. 3.00.) for hill districts.

Those who passed the S.S.C or equivalent exam before 2002 they are not eligible to apply and are not qualify to participate in the admission test for the Medical Colleges in the session 2005-2006.

Procedure for Selection of Students:
|
|
a)
|
All applications for admission must be submitted in the prescribed form obtainable form the office of the Principal of the Shahab Uddin Medical College.
|
|
b)
|
The prescribed application from, duly filled-in must reach the office of the Principal Shahab Uddin Medical College by the specified date given in the advertisement.
|
|
c)
|
Selection of students will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the written and oral examination administered by the authorities.
|
|
|
Attested photocopies of the following documents must be acconpanied with application form:
|
|
I.
|
S.S.C examination Certificate or its equivalent certificate but in case of non- availability of original certificate provisional certificate may be accepted.
|
|
II.
|
H.S.C testimonial from the Principal of the college where he/she passed.
|
|
III.
|
S.S.C & H.S.C mark/result sheets.
|
|
IV.
|
Certificate from the Head of the institution in which the applicant studied last regarding his/her character, personality, career and extra curricular activities.
|
|
V.
|
Certificate of character from a Class-I Gazetted Officer.
|
|
VI.
|
Nationality certificate.
|
|
VII.
|
Two copies of recent pasport size photographs and one stamp size should be submitted.
|
|
VIII.
|
Receipt of registration fee for admission into the 1st year MBBS Class.
|
|
IX.
|
Certificate regarding financial solviicy of the father/guardian.
|
|
All information regardiiadmission into 1st year MBBS course wi1be notified in the notice Board of the Shahab Uddin Medical College.
Medical Fitness:
Selected applicants are to undergo a medical test ascertaining their Medical Fitness.
